In this age and era of the HIV/Aids pandemic, it should only be common sense for every couple that intends to marry and expectant mothers to carry out an HIV test. This will reduce on the number of children born with the disease because of the available resources of preventing mother-to-child infection. Those who discover that they are HIV positive can be put on the Anti-retroviral medication. It is every one’s responsibility to take extra caution to prevent him/her from contracting the disease. We should be ashamed of easily acquiring this fatal virus. We ought to be responsible enough and make HIV/Aids history in Africa.
