Nyaruguru survivors hail Burundian soldiers
NYARUGURU – Residents of Nyaruguru district mostly Genocide survivors have hailed some Burundian soldiers for their efforts in saving lives of some Rwandans during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi. During the 16th commemoration of Genocide on Wednesday, survivors revealed that some Burundian soldiers, who were on the shores of Akanyaru River during the massacres, did their best to help Tutsi who were being hunted down.
