FORMER Police and Renaissance coach Sogonya Kishi Hamisi has resigned as head coach of Primus national league side Amagaju. Kishi quit because of some big headed players in the Southern Province club. “I could no longer work with some of the players at the club. They were so indisciplined and yet we needed to work as a unit to try and save ourselves from being relegated.” In a related development, four players have been shown the exit at the club. Ugandan born striker Guy Franklin, Peter Mugisha (striker), Raymond Ntakirutimana (defender) and Gaspard Gasherubuka (midfielder) have all been released by the club due to indiscipline. The quartet was found guilty of constantly missing training sessions and match fixing scandals. Franklin is reported to have deliberately scored in his own net during the club’s 2-3 league defeat against Electrogaz over the weekend. Amagaju, who have managed two minutes in 19 matches are second from the bottom with 13 points. Musanze are at the foot with 12 points. Ends
