Teacher held for abusing wife

RWAMAGANA – A  teacher at Bicumbi Teachers Training College, Jean Baptiste Muco, has been detained at Nzinge Police Station in Rwamagana district, for allegedly insulting his wife. Muco, a Burundian national, is said to have verbally insulted Charlotte Nyirarukundo, with whom they have been cohabiting for years, leading her to be traumatised. The woman is a genocide survivor.
