Rwf85million to renovate memorial sites
KARONGI – Following criticism from top government officials and the local population, two of the major genocide memorial sites in Karongi district are set to be renovated, an official confirmed. The two sites are the Bwishyura memorial site and Bisesero Memorial Centre which was abandoned by a building contractor in 2003.
