Huye Mayor speaks out on poor district performance

MUHANGA – The Mayor of Huye district, François Uhagaze, has spoken out on his district‘s poor ranking in the recent evaluation of performance contracts, vowing to improve the performance in the next evaluations. His comments, made at the district leaders’ retreat held at Kabgayi recently, appear to have been in response to criticism from top government officials, who say that resident’s response to different government development programmes has been poor in Huye district.
