Society debate; Is the women’s emancipation drive contributing to domestic conflict?

Yes You can’t eat your cake and have it. It’s reprehensible for any female parent to pursue a career and raise a family at the same time. When you end up losing the most important thing in life-family, is when you will regret all your mischievous dreams and ambitions. It is sad that acareer has become an illusion that has ruined families, relationships and trust, thanks to women emancipation that gave women full rights to violating their homes. What happened to the humble Eve that God gave to Adam for a wife? As states the bible, its crystal clear that woman should be submissive to her husband. She should only be a husband’s companion and advisor, not the bread winner. Then why on earth did woman decide to hit the streets in pursuit of money, power and career yet it was not the ultimate goal for her creation? Though many credit women emancipation in regard with helping women build their career, I totally blame it for causing persistent conflict in homes. As per statistics, women independence is the biggest cause of divorce. No wonder celebrity couples break up every day; the women have too way bigger dreams than keeping home! Working in itself isn’t bad but how on earth will you balance between career and parental roles? What’s the benefit of having a PHD, a ministerial job when your family is in shatters? What will you tell those kids about your absence during their growing up? And will it please you when the house help coaches your own children on how to live and future values when you are busy serving organizations that will never really appreciate you? Continue getting home when your children are already asleep but know it’s a grave mistake. And hey, true freedom is freedom to choose what’s best for you. Many women out there are self employed and they have no regrets. Hiring a few people to run your errands as you tend to your family is good. What is worse is coming home one day when your husband is in the arms of the house maid after you failed to take on your responsibilities as a wife. Imagine a world where it’s the maid who cooks for him, washes his cloths, makes the bed….the end of it will be worse. And before you turn the entire wrath to your husband, you should be the one to blame. Allow me to ask…did our ancestors have professional careers? How come they lived happily? The secret of happiness is a good marriage and family, if you didn’t know. Much as you are above others professional wise, you will still need a shoulder to lean on, come tough times. This shoulder can only be your family and if you have lost it already, you’ll die a slow sad death. And take it from me; no normal man wants a woman to set the rules. Soon or later you’ll discover when he throws you out of the house, even with that degree. And before you lose yourself to freedom, career, money….all that nuisance, just know that it’s not the end of the world.
