Province steps up women’s day festivities

HUYE - Ruhango district has been chosen as the venue for this year’s Women’s day celebrations at the provincial level. As part of activities to mark the day, outstanding women and other individuals who have advocated for the cause of women will be recognised, the president of the National Women’s Council in the province has said. Talking to The New Times, Anonciata Kambayire said that a number of activities will be carried out in the period preceding the March 8 celebrations.
