Cash for work program excites Rwimiyaga residents

NYAGATARE - Residents Rwimiyaga sector in Nyagatare district have welcomed the district’s ‘Cash-for-work’ project that have transformed their livelihoods. Last year, Rwimiyaga sector experienced a prolonged drought that left sector residents without food. In a bid to seek for emergency support, the district set up a project where affected residents would construct terraces and other developmental work and in return get wages. ‘It’s a privilege that the district remembered us.
