FICTION : SOLDIER’S FATE

Rachael is a gorgeous girl fit to contest for the title of Miss Universe. She meets all requirements which qualify such a title. Men in her village have literally come to blows because of her. She is elegant and reserved. Girls in her village are envious of her. Her natural long black hair and well curved body are conspicuous which leave young men in the village stealing glances at her with mouths wide open. “Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.”After completing her high school, she moved to the city to live with one of her elder sisters living in the city. She comes from a family of ten. She is the last born. She did well in High School but was unable to join university for lack of funds. This disheartened her because she needed nothing less but to pursue a degree in law. Her sister in the city works as a pump attendant at a petrol station. She is divorced and abhors marriage life. She seemingly enjoys her life being unattached but never misses a temporally boy friend to take her out for a weekend. She loves her younger sister and on such occasion, they normally go together. It is on such an outing where Rachael met Evasamixx. Cupid’s arrow had never pierced her before until that very night. They were as usual seated with her sister and her sister’s boyfriend. Opposite where they were seated, was this young man who was well dressed and with a smiley face with conspicuous dimples. His aristocratic perfume was alluring. He sat there for over half an hour slowly sipping his beer and seemingly not in a hurry. Rachael noticed that the lad was gazing at her and she tried to avoid eye contact. This did not take long and they both started communicating with their eyes. They exchanged glances and smiles now and then. Rachael’s sister by this time was busy chatting with her boyfriend sometimes engaging their tongues in wrestling matches something that made Rachael’s heart to add a beat. She had never done so but this night she had the urge of experimenting. Evasamixx beckoned her to sit with him. She smiled back at him and asked her sister to allow her to join the stranger seated opposite. Her sister agreed but with a word of caution, “You are free to join him but be careful, life in the city dictates that you be shrewd.” Rachael stood up to join Evasamixx. “Jesus Christ!” Evasamixx murmured to himself when he saw the curvy body he didn’t see when Rachael was seated. “You look gorgeous!” Evasamixx exclaimed. “Thank you,” Rachael answered shyly as she sat next to him with her sexy eyes eyeballing his. From the moment Rachael sat next to Evasamixx, it’s like the universe stood still. Time was erased by passion. They got to know each other. Evasamixx was married and didn’t hide his status to the beautiful queen seated with him. Amazingly, Rachael seemed not to be bothered. They sat for long chatting. It was almost at dawn when Rachael’s sister told her that it was time to leave. Evasamixx’s car was parked outside. He offered to give them a ride home. They agreed since they had used a taxi coming to the club. Rachael and Evasamixx were the first to move to where his car was parked. They sat in the front seat. Rachael’s sister and the boyfriend took some minutes before coming to the vehicle and by the time they came, Rachael and Evasamixx had already stolen some hot kisses and exchanged contacts. “There is always some madness in love. Evasamixx would take her out almost every weekend most of the times being accompanied by her elder sister. They were in love and Rachael’s family members who met with Evasamixx were fond of him. They cared less Rachael being married to him as a second wife. Evasamixx loved his new girl friend. He took her to all the posh joints in the city they could think of. He spent a fortune entertaining Rachael. They could even party together with Rachael’s brothers and sisters where they would refer Evasamixx as their in-law.
