Effective December 2022, GVA Rwanda, a subsidiary of Group Vivendi Africa, launched the campaign “Change the Rules” to announce the increase in its packages’ capacity, without increasing its prices. The CanalBox fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) “Premium” package is now 200mbps per month for RWF 40,000 and the “Start” package is now 50mbps per month for RWF 25,000. “This upgrade is driven by our company’s mission, to democratize broadband internet for all Rwandans, positively impacting their lives by connecting them to our fast, unlimited Fiber internet. And the reason the campaign is called “Change the Rules” is because we are showing that it is possible to do this, at an affordable price, said Julius Kayoboke, GVA Rwanda CEO. This upgrade will apply to all current and new subscribers in Kigali city and Rubavu district. This comes right off the back of the launch of their festive season campaign, offering free installation to new subscribers until the 31st of December 2022.
