Byimana School of Sciences tops southern province

RUHANGO - Byimana School of Sciences, a mixed boarding school run by the Marist Catholic Brothers, emerged top performer in the province with all registered candidates passing the examinations. While paying an impromptu visit to the school, the Governor, of the Southern Province, Fidele Ndayisaba, commended students and staff of the school for the success recorded in last year’s A-level examination. At national level, the school came second overall in physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) subject combination and sixth in the mathematics, chemistry, and biology (MCB) combination.
