Ghetto life! Never in my life I can say it again and again that Nyamirambo is the biggest ghetto the world has ever known. The wannabes’entirely crown the place for a ghetto republic, maybe the residents should think of electing themselves a president soon. Severally, I regret why Nyamirambo is even a Kigali suburb! What a disgraceful image it gives to Kigali! Speak of weed, prohibited liquor and day light theft, Nyamirambo is a perfect visual aid. As for those little wannabe kids with baggy jeans allover the place, I have no words for them.Anyway, which representable parent would bring up their kid in Nyamirambo? You might think you are parenting while you are busy breeding a brood of criminals. It’s crystal clear that areas next to slums rank high when it gets to crimes. No wonder, Kimisagara earned the name of having the highest crime rates in Kigali; it’s just adjacent to Nyamirambo. As little Nyamirambo residents flood the terribly many local film studios to get coaching in pornography, before the right age, the hygiene is also pathetic. I hear its ‘easy access’ to roadside food! Imagine buying a rolex {chapatti} in Biryogo by the roadside with all that dust. And when doctors mention the value of sleep, they really mean it. But I doubt whether Nyamirambo residents ever sleep. Apart from the hooting and noise from cars, the highest population is determined to work during the night! I grew up knowing that it’s only a few mammals like bats that make good use of the night but Nyamirambo has stood out to disapprove my belief. Thanks that they are finally repairing that road, the potholes had become as deep as an ocean.Anyway, it makes no difference, all the dust and the chaos as the impatient taxi drivers overtake is trouble in itself. Speaking of taxi drivers reminds me, whoever trained Nyamirambo drivers and conductors to be noisy did a great job. It’s a routine that the radio, CD…whatever is on the highest volume. Passengers end up competing in an endeavour to be heard. It’s a battle to even answer a phone call; I wish Nyamirambo taxis replace decoration with civilization.So you say rent fare is cheap in Nyamirambo, which kind of houses are there anyway? Ofcourse any house near a slum or wetland costs little. How do you feel when you stay in a fake house all in the name of saving? I personally wouldn’t even consider dating a guy from Nyamirambo.If the impossible happens I can call it a long distance relationship; I can’t get the time to waste in such a place. It’s simply not my class. Let me ask, how do you feel when your colleagues reside in Nyarutarama, Kacyiru, Gacuriro……posh places while you stay in Nyamirambo? Style up and get a life, there are millions of reasonable places to dwell, not lousy slum areas. Otherwise you stand to be misapprehended, like the saying goes……birds of the same feathers flock together. You will end up being dubbed a hoodlum because of where you stay. Ends
