RAPPER ODA PACCY has fulfilled her promise of returning to the music scene bigger and better with an Extended Play, ‘No Comment’. This comes after her song ‘Imbere Muri Njye’ that she released in September about mental health awareness. She was also one of the headliners of the first ever hip-hop cypher in Rwanda ‘Rap City Season 1’ held at BK Arena in mid-September. “No Comment is the song I like most on my entire EP and it goes well with the project name. It is all about the way people always have something to say about the lives of others leaving theirs aside. They look at a man or a boy and be like ‘he can’t be rich without having sugar mummies or he has lots of children everywhere’. Seeing a self-made girl, they immediately accuse her of being a ‘slay queen’ or that she might be having many men who provide,” said Paccy, real name Pacifique Uzamberumwana. She went on to share that she has been criticised a lot and so the song was inspired by her own true story. The EP was prepared during her two-year hiatus, during which she was also pursuing her education. ‘No Comment’ is a four-song EP: ‘Hodi’, ‘No Comment’, ‘Kanda Like’ and ‘Daddy Mandela’ ft Sintex. X on the Beat, Junior Mult, Issa Pro, Dj Lil, and Bob Pro are the producers who worked on this project which was released on December 5, and is available on Oda Paccy Music Selling Platforms; Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and others.
