MALAWIAN defender Elvis Kafoteka is caught in a transfer row that involves Rwandan champions, his intended destination and Zambia’s Zesco United. Initially, Kafoteka had agreed personal terms to join Zesco before he joined Malawi national team for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations in Angola last month. His former club Escom issued him a provisional clearance through the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to join Zesco, who are playing the CAF Confederations Cup. But when the Nations Cup ended, the defender changed his mind and opted to join his national team colleagues Chiukepo Msowoya and Victor Nyirenda at APR. Ends
