Igikosi singer, Rafiki Mazimpaka has accused singer and events organiser VD Frank of using his name to fraduently attract fan to his events. On Valentines Day, VD Frank had organised a concert at KBC’s Planet club and during its promotion had promised that Rafiki and Mako Nikoshwa would be among the performers. “I wonder whether VD Frank will ever stop lying,” Rafiki said. “Every time he organises a concert, he includes names of artists without their consent to attract the audience.” Rafiki said that on Valentine’s Day he and Nikoshwa were already lined up to perform at Le Chantier in Nyamata. However, on their way back they dropped into planet club. One of the night’s DJs requested the duo to give the club revelers a gig but only got the mic and greeted their fans. The concert which was supposed to start at 7:30 p.m was delayed for three hours, as the organisers waited for the crowd to build -up. Ends
