MPs intervene in Karongi land dispute
KARONGI – Members of Parliament have intervened to in an effort to solve a land dispute between Karongi district and about 70 residents of Bwishyura sector. The residents say in 1982, they were evicted in order to pave way for the construction of Ecole Technique (ETO) de Kibuye, but expressed frustration at the time it has taken for them to be compensated.
