Sugar daddy, sugar mummy: are they really sweet?

At campus Grace Umutesi [not real name] stayed with some of the richest girls that had every thing they wanted and so she felt left out all the time. She could not handle the competition, she came from a humble family; her parents could never provide enough. Umutesi tried to avoid all the external forces pushing her into illicit search for money, but the days of resistance were numbered. One evening as she walked to her hostel, on the road strode this beautiful car which stopped in front of her, “Do you need a lift,” asked the driver. Umutesi never declined; after all it was just a lift. The man behind the wheel introduced himself as Juma [not real name], he was elderly but had a good voice that sounded so tender. After a series of outings, Juma confessed his unconditional love for her. “I can barely sleep. The mere thought of any guy staring at you keeps my heart restless,” confessed Juma. She never showed it, but Umutesi’s heart skipped with joy. She was finally going to join the loaded class. How she looked forward to cruising around in a nice car. “He is not too old, he has the dimes and he will treat me like his own daughter,” she thought. Definitely, the answer was yes. Juma started showering Umutesi with endless gifts, outings and soon trips abroad. Out of the blue, Umutesi emerged the campus tycoon and a darling to everyone. Cruising in a RAV4, the 22 year old had it all. She got better than her friends in such a short time! Cross generational sex is real and has no boundaries. Sexually hungry elderly men and women look out for youths or teens to satisfy their sexual desires. The rewards are always awesome but ofcourse nothing compares to life. Regardless of the fact that cross generational sex comes with selfish intentions, young adults are falling prey.Today, all over foreign news papers, young adults write in, to search for sugar mums/dads. Only a few teens are immune to those flashy phones and dollars for pocket money. After all they have to show their financial power at school. Use what you have to get what you don’t have. Young adults are steadily following this saying; their bodies get them all the flashy things that they only desired. While it is mostly the material gains, some girls go in for sex, some teens go in for cross generation sex for emotional reasons. Especially, girls believe that their male age mates are terrible players who can never love them. In sugar dads, they seek honest love, emotional support and parental care. Meanwhile, cross generation sex has increased the risk of HIV/AIDS and STD’S among young adults.
