Perfect Weekend….

Theogene Safari is the Restaurant Manager, Foods and Beverages at Laico Umubano Hotel. Must be a tough job meeting all the culinary needs of all that go to such a big hotel. Mmm. So, how would such a guy spend his weekend? Read on: I start the weekend on Saturday since I leave work a bit late on Friday. I wake-up at 9a.m if I am not on duty. I listen to music while having breakfast and reading a novel. I enjoy cooking for myself, so I go ahead and prepare lunch that may sometimes comprise matooke, rice and meat. At about 1p.m, I have lunch and rest for an hour or two. In the evening, if I don’t take a walk around KBC roundabout and other such places, I may be at Serena hotel, Top Tower or any other with exciting functions for the weekend. On Sunday, I go to church until 1p.m. I utilize the day to check on my friends and later go for basketball at Red Cross in Kacyiru. At about 7p.m, I go to Chez Lando in Remera to meet friends. It’s in this place that I enjoy watching football from especially when Real Madrid is playing. I leave the place at about 11p.m but I never get to bed before mid-night. So, there you are.
