Cecafa fixtures Dec. 8-Kenya v TanzaniaDec. 9-Uganda v Djibouti-Rwanda v EritreaAmavubi Stars will not play any build-up matches ahead of this year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup, Ferwafa has confirmed.The “We have not planned any build-up matches for the team,” Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer, Jules Kalisa said yesterday.Kalisa however, admitted the importance of warm up matches especially give the fact the coach is still new and he hasn’t got enough time to study all his players well enough.Josip Kuze is expected to name his final squad for the GTV sponsored tournament on December 5, a day before the team departs for Tanzania.Rwanda has been pooled together with Uganda, Eritrea and Djibouti. Group A will have hosts Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi and Somalia while group C will comprise of Sudan, Ethiopia and Zanzibar.Hosts Tanzania and traditional rivals Kenya will battle in the tournament’s opener on December 8 while Rwanda opens her campaign against Eritrea the following day, which game would be preceded by the clash between Uganda and Djibouti.The Amavubi Stars will renew their rivalry with bitter rivals Uganda Cranes on December 11.Ends
