Wall units Long gone are the large wall units that used to adorn our sitting rooms, these wall units really used to scare me, that I never even once admired any. Interior decor then was a thing for the very rich and famous, so our mothers had to make do with improvising everything they saw that came in handy. Wall units used to be so huge, that you will find the space in the living room has all been taken by the wall unit alone leaving anyone sitting there so squeezed that one could hardly stretch their legs. Then came new designs, these are either small made wall units or the in-built wall units. Either of the two is very good, since they leave the room with a lot of space for anything else. On choosing a wall unit it is very important to consider the size of your living room. Wall units look very good when they are not over decorated. When you place so many things on a wall unit, it loses it beauty and it ends up looking a Christmas tree. Therefore it is advisable to place few things on it like, a flower vase, a figurine or two and any other memorabilia for as long as they do not exceed three is good.
