Accountant disappears with cash for classrooms

MUSANZE – The accountant of Rwaza sector in Musanze district has allegedly disappeared with Rwf8m meant for the construction of classrooms for the Nine Year Basic Education Program. Théophile Umuntukuwe, reportedly forged the signature of the sector executive secretary Justin Mimi, authorising the transfer of money on the sector account in BCR, to his personal account in another bank.
