No agreement
YESTERDAY’s high-level meeting between the Minister of Sports and Culture (Minispoc) and officials from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (Anoca) did not yield much after both parties failed to reach a mutual agreement. The officials; Jerome Poivey (IOC) and Joao da Costa Aegre (Anoca), who flew in to get more details on what led to the sacking of the former executive committee of the National Olympic body (RNOC) where not satisfied with the minister’s reasons for dissolving the committee.
Sports Minister Joseph Habineza failed to agree with the IOC and Anoca officials.
