Spier optimistic on future of local women football
DESPITE being eliminated from the 2011 U-20 World Cup qualifiers, Rwanda’s junior women football team coach Andreas Spier insists that there is a bright future for the team. Rwanda who needed to overturn a 1-2 first leg defeat failed to rise to the occasion as Uganda’s she-hippos sealed their progress to the next stage after a painful 1-0 win at Regional stadium.
