A day in the life of... : Kirui Walter

Kirui Walter is the Manager of the Carwash Choma Zone. Walter has the responsibility of managing all the activities that go on in the place. Below he tells us his typical day at work: I wake-up at 6a.m, have a morning glory and shower. I have breakfast and organize to set off for work. From home in Kacyiru, it takes me about 10 minutes to get to the workplace. As soon as I reach work, I inspect the whole place to ensure that everything is in order. I then get on to check on the records of the closing stock to see if the stock is adequate. This also helps me to note the opening stock. I make requisitions if necessary and get on to check on cleanliness of the place. This is also the same time I ensure that all that is on our menu is available. I normally have lunch at around 3p.m when I believe everything is right. I work until mid-night. I have supper at the work place and go home. I take some time noting some things at home.
