THE International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has offered to train local coaches and umpires on the basics of beach volleyball. The training, which is expected to attract 18 participants, will be conducted by FIVB instructor Mohamed Benhamida from November 11 to 18. According to Gertrude Kubwimana, the executive secretary of the local volleyball federation (FRVB), the training which will be held at Amahoro indoor stadium is aimed at building capacity in the relatively new sport. Kubwimana also noted that unlike previous trainings, this one will also attract members of the FRVB executive. Ends
