RWAMAGANA – About 40 nurses drawn from different health facilities in the country have started a five-day training on male circumcision counselling. According to organisers of the training, participants are expected to promote safe male circumcision in their work stations. “We want to inculcate a positive attitude among the participants, to implement quality male circumcision. We shall also discuss how to encourage community residents to embrace circumcision as a tool against HIV/AIDS,” Valens Mutsinzi, one of the facilitators said. The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Health. Ends
