THE Copper Bullets of Zambia arrive in Kigali next Wednesday, three days before their decisive 2010 Africa Nations Cup (CAN) qualifier against Amavubi Stars at Amahoro stadium. The Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa made the confirmation after receiving a communiqué from Zambia’s football federation. Zambian President Rupiah Banda has urged the Chipolopolo to give their all in next Saturday’s encounter. Banda, who congratulated the team for winning a silver medal at the just-ended Cosafa Challenge Cup tournament in Zimbabwe on Sunday, urged his players to remain focused on the task at hand. Meanwhile, Amavubi Stars have embarked on serious training sessions as they look to hit the right form for the Zambia clash. Besides deciding whether Rwanda will qualify for next year’s CAN, the tie also has a huge bearing on Tucak Branko’s future. The Amavubi head coach needs to qualify Rwanda to Angola to stand any chance of keeping his job. Already, the hot seat has been linked to Liverpool legend John Barnes. Technically, Amavubi need a two-goal win to stand any hopes of reaching Angola. Ends
