The second edition of the annual Kids’ football championship league started yesterday at Amahoro stadium. The tournament pitches14 teen teams from around Kigali city. The competition is scheduled to end on December 15 after a whole month of tough matches between Kigali’s most organized teen teams. The league is sponsored by Esperance de Remera Fc and Amahoro Great Lakes under the theme of “Youths we fight HIV/AIDS through playing football. According to the organizer of the competition Jean Pierre Kalisa, Rayol Sport Vice coach, competition and performance is expected to be high because many of the coaches were trained by the federation.“We expect them to play well compared to the previous edition. Because they have enough time to prepare for the event,” Kalisa said.
