After months of reading and hard work, primary six pupils have today started the national exams. These exams if passed will allow them to be promoted to lower secondary school. The exams that have began today will end on Thursday, October 29th. The candidates begin with Mathematics followed by Social Studies in the afternoon. On the second day they will do Elementary Science/Technology and Kinyarwanda and they will finish with English. According to figures from the National Examination Council (RNEC), this year, primary six pupils will do their exams in 559 different examination centres around the country. Ends
