Rwanda’s accession to join the East Africa Community (EAC) has stirred up significant political, social and economical adjustment which enables the country to fully benefit from the bloc. Rwandans are optimistic of the many benefits that would come their way at the time all the adjustments are successfully concluded. They include election of the country’s representatives to the Regional Assembly, rectification of some laws to link with those country members of the bloc and many more. From the financial point of scrutiny, bankers and business operators are privileged to have a large market of over 120million people in the bloc. The EAC has drawn up plans to form an East African Federation with softened travel restrictions, harmonizing tariffs, a common market, improving communications facilities, sharing electrical power and abolishing most tariffs to attain economic growth and political integration in the region. So, embracing this coalition could make life of people in this region easy and manageable. Kimironko
