The Ministry of Sports and Culture yesterday revealed the travelling contingent for next week’s Francophone Games scheduled for September 27-October 6 in Beirut, Lebanon. The 50-man team comprises of the U-20 national football team, an athletics team, table-tennis team and participants in painting, sculpture and dance. Apart from Rwanda, other countries expected to take part include Armenia, Benin, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Ivory Coast, Cyprus, Belgium, DR Congo, Djibouti, Republic of Yugoslavia and Macedonia, France, Gabon, Greece, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Luxembourg, Morocco, Mauritius, Monaco, Mozambique, Niger, Romania, Seychelles, Switzerland, Togo, Tunisia and Vietnam.
