RWANDA OTC MARKET REPORT : Tuesday 15th September 2009

Equity Market Today the Rwanda OTC market at the close of the market recorded no transaction. The KCB share price remained at Rwf 165; showing an increase of Rwf 5 from the previous price of Rwf 160. Monday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, a total of 143,500 KCB shares were traded within the range of 21.25 Kshs (160Rfw) and 20.5Kshs (Rwf154) and closed at 21.00 Kshs (Rwf158). The NSE All share index went up to 0.23 points to close at 68.33. DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares. The Bond Market: On the bond market no transactions were recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50. Ends
