South AFRICA’S TOP COMEDIAN, Loyiso Gola,is expected to perform in Kigali, in the Seka Live show scheduled for December 3. Since the return of Seka Live shows after COVID-19, fans have been enjoying Comedy with some of Africa’s biggest Comedians. The last comedian that graced the stage was Uganda's most popular comedian Anne Kansiime in September. Arthur Nkusi, founder of Arthur Nation that organises the show had said that they were in negotiations with many international comedians, one of them was Gola. Many people love Gola because of how he speaks, moves on stage and his funny stories, all these are the reasons why this comedian continues to win the hearts of many. On Thursday, November 10, Arthur Nkusi announced that the South African comedian will perform for Rwandans in the concert that will be held on December 3, at Kigali Convention Center. He said this in a post shared on his social media handles. Born and raised in Cape Town, Loyiso Gola is one of South Africa's most gifted and popular comedians. He was a shy child who finally came out of his shell after trying stand-up as a teen in school. Gola's drama teacher introduced him to the Cape Comedy Collective where he continued to flourish. After entering university in 2002, Gola won the Sprite Soul Comedy Tour and relocated to Johannesburg where he began to land TV appearances on panel and sketch shows. Gola debuted his first one-man show I'm Frank in 2006 and he's been captivating audiences with his refreshingly frank stand-up ever since. In 2007, he scored the South African Comedy Award for Best Breakthrough Comedy Act with Loyiso Gola For President A yet-to-be confirmed lineup of local Comedians will be performing alongside Golo. Several comedians have graced Seka Live comedy show since its inauguration in 2017, including Ugandan comedian Teacher Mpamire, Salvador, and Burundian Kigingi, Anne Kansiime and Eric Omondi among others.
