Thursday September 10, 2009 Equity Market Yesterday the Rwanda Over The Counter (OTC) market recorded a turnover of Rwf66,000 from 400 KCB shares traded in one transaction at the price of Rwf165. The KCB shares opened at Rwf160 and closed at Rwf165, an increase of Rwf5. Wednesday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, a total of 1,083,800 KCB shares were traded within the range of Kshs21.00 (Rwf156) and Kshs21.75 (Rwf162) and closed flat at Kshs21.50 (Rwf160). The NSE All share index went down 0.10 points to close at 68.34. DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares. The Bond Market: On the bond market no transactions were recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf2 billion and Rwf5 million for the same bonds at Rwf94.00 and Rwf97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50. Ends
