

Winners of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in USA will take home a prize money in excess of $125m, world football governing body (FIFA) announced on Wednesday.
The inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will take place from June 14-July 13 and it will have 32 teams and each continent will be represented.
A total of $1billion will be shared among the participating teams.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino stressed that the new Club World Cup model is designed to lift up global club football and to ensure financial rewards for participants.
"The tournament represents the pinnacle of club football and the biggest-ever prize money for a football competition. It will also provide a significant boost in making football truly global," Infantino said.
Africa will be represented by four teams namely Al Ahly of Egypt, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Esperance of Tunisia and Moroccan giants Wydad.
