The long waited beauty contest for Miss Kigali Institute of Management (KIM), is set for today. Four beauties out of six have been chosen to compete for scholarship money, prizes and the chance to be crowned Miss KIM. According to the event’s organizer, Brigitte Kaneza, the event will be held at KIM, Nyandungu, from 5 p.m. The Minister for Sports and Culture, Joseph Habineza will be the guest of honour at first ever beauty pageant in KIM. Local musicians: Miss Shanel, The Ben, KNC and Meddy will grace the event. 24-year-old, Kaneza, a 2nd-year student at KIM, says that she has been training the beauties in catwalk and other basics since last week. IPROMO, Chez Bisa, Inyarwanda.com, Queen Ally’s Boutique, Radio 10 and City Radio are the key sponsors of the event. Ends
