The Equity Market Today, the Rwanda OTC Market recorded no transaction.Tuesday 25th August 2009, on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) a total of 1,170,400 KCB shares were traded. KCB shares traded between 21.50 Kshs (Rwf.160) and Kshs 20.75 (Rwf 155) to close at Kshs 21.00 (Rfw 156). The NSE all share indexes closed 0.66 points down to close at 68.50. The trading volumes were lower than the previous day; 12,128,200 shares were traded with a turnover of Kshs 101,193,550 on Tuesday while 15,674,800 shares had been traded with a turnover of Kshs 141,368,350 on Monday. DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange) and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares. The Bond Market: On the bond market no transactions were recorded. At the close of business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.
