Editor, For many years there has been a good deal of rhetoric about the role of education in developing the skills of the nation’s workforce. Training policies and levels of resources have frequently exposed that rhetoric. I greatly believe that further education demonstrate a deeper recognition of each individual’s incomparable contribution to the skills of the nation’s workforce. This is very heartening in particular when it comes to the creation of opportunities for young adults to gain qualifications in skills shortage areas. This is definitely a good intention to ensure that improved information, advice and guidance for Rwandan adults are established. More support and awareness is therefore needed to encourage more Rwandans to pursue further education for a better future. Lisa Welmer BahiziKigali
