Editor, Following the signs the Red Cross and environmentalists found out on mount Nyiragongo, the call to awareness comes in time. Authorities have held two-day sensitization trainings for residents who reside around Mount Nyiragongo to be prepared in case of a volcanic eruption. This is great because unlike the previous eruption that occurred years back, residents in this area will not be caught unawares. I urge also the government to take the matter into consideration and make more alerts on the issue. rbfred@yahoo.com
