From the heart of worship, Diane Nkusi, a young upcoming gospel artist, is set to release her first album, “Ndaguhaye Icyubahiro”, literally translated to mean, “I Give You Honor”. Diane describes her musical style as a combination of salsa, zouk, rock, rumba, R&B, hip hop, and traditional Kinyarwanda. What makes the album even more eclectic is that its songs cover are in four languages: French, Spanish, English, and Kinyarwanda. “My ambition is to tell people to know God, to know about the sacrifice of the cross, to show people God’s love is very precious, to tell him thank you,” she said. Currently, Diane is only doing the vocals, but she also wishes to learn the guitar and piano. The 24-year old solo singer is a student at University Libre de Kigali (ULK). Diane hopes to have the album completed by November, and to launch it officially in December. At that time, she plans to begin doing concerts in Kigali, and possibly other parts of the country, to publicize her album. Ends
