The Rwanda OTC market today the 11th of August 2009 recorded no transaction at the close of business. Friday 7th of August, Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) had a total of 1,562,900 KCB shares traded. KCB shares traded between 21.75 Kshs(Rwf162) and Kshs 23.00(Rwf171) to close at 22.50 Kshs(Rwf168), a 0.75 Kshs(Rwf 6) increase from the previous day. The NSE all share indexes closed 0.39 points down. The trading volumes were higher than the previous day; 16,294,100 shares exchanged hands on Monday while 8,304,900 shares had been traded on Friday. pDSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares.The Bond Market: On the bond market no transactions were recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively. There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50. Ends
