Week 8 of the Rwanda Premier league saw some shocking results as Mukura Victory picked maximum points at the Ubworoherane Stadium against Musanze. In the border town of Rusizi, Espoir FC were held to a 1 -1 draw at home by Gasogi. Nigerian import Samson Ikechukwu gave Espoir the lead in the 37th minute before Christian Malipangu equalized with just three minutes to full time. Rayon Sport maintained their unbeaten run in the league with a 1-0 victory over Sunrise FC. Winger Felix Ndekwe scored the goal in the 67th minute. Ghanaian attacker Peter Agblevor provided two assists for Luke Namanda to score. But that could not prevent Musanze FC from defeat as they lost 3-2 to Mukura Victory. The goals for the away team were scored by Tatou, Patrick Murenzi and Cedric Kubwimana. At Umuganda stadium in Gisenyi, in form striker Fabrice Twizerimana gave Police FC a fourth minute lead before Ismael Gikamba restored parity for Marines FC. Aime Ntirusha shot Police ahead again in the 58th minute before Arthur Gitego netted a spectacular goal in the 90th minute to end the game 2-2.
