Previously it was an abomination, unthinkable for any well meaning woman to have a tattoo anywhere on her body. Then tattoos were a permanent mark of the outcast. We all knew that we loved tattoos but the occasional motherly warnings kept us at bay. However, we are opening up to possibilities of what tattoos can be despite their tainted definitions. The beauty and mystery behind tattoos now has many women looking far and wide to have someone craft one on them. A permanent tattoo is made by inserting ink into the layers of skin making a beautiful marking as a way of personal expression or for decorative purposes. It’s important to go to a professional tattoo artist so that you don’t get a skin infection as a result of the ink insertion. Most tattoo designers will use antiseptic and will give you some more for after care. The major drawback to tattoos is the pain involved. Granted, we all agree most beauty processes are agonizing, but if you have needles then maybe a tattoo is just one more beauty mark you would want to ignore. The tattoo designer will use needles to inject in the ink. While the needles don’t actually go deep, the process is uncomfortable and somewhat painful especially on areas that are extra sensitive such as the upper arms. A tattoo can be made on any part of the body; the choice is definitely left to you. The design is also subject to choice. Some people prefer big flashy tattoos while some will go for a small marking on the lower leg that only they know exists. Because tattoos are not universally appreciated depending on a person’s profession, it is important to have them on spots that are covered by work clothes. Again because of the permanency involved it would be important to really think of the design, you might not want to rush into having a person’s name permanently inscribed on your body just in case they don’t remain in your life. Again before rushing to a dragon inscription on your back remember one day you might be older and it might not look as pretty as it does now.
