Olivier Karekezi has been linked with a move to English Championship side Nottingham Forest before the end of this month. The Amavubi Stars skipper told Times Sport yesterday his dream of plying his trade in England could be accomplished before the end of this month. “I’m waiting for the (UK) visa before I can fly out to England for talks with some English clubs,” said Karekezi. Nottingham Forest is currently playing in the second tier of English league football, The Championship. However, another English club, Notts County FC which in in the Football League Two has also been linked with the former APR striker. Former England national football team coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson joined the club as director of football and it’s reported that the Swede is the man trying to sign Karekezi. Karekezi came close to joining Al Ahly but the deal stalled after his Norwegian side Ham Kam failed to reach an agreement with the Egyptian giants. Ends
