Market silent with no shares available for sale: The week ending 31st July 2009, the Rwanda OTC equity market at the close of the session was silent and, KCB counter had no shares on sale and no buyers. By the end of the week, at the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) KCB share price dropped from 22.75 Kshs (169Rfw) to Ksh 22.50(Rwf 167) at the end of the session. The day’s high was Ksh 22.50(Rwf169) and the low price was Ksh 22.00 (Rwf163). The Bond Market: The bond market continues to be quiet as no transactions have been recorded. At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.
