Forty-two Ferwafa-licensed referees are set to undergo a physical test this morning at Amahoro stadium ahead of the start of the 2007/08 football league due on November 17.The Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer told Times Sport on Thursday that the referees will undergo the test with an aim of giving them more guidance on how to go about their profession.“The pre-season test is meant to also give our national referees more guidelines as well as having a look at their last season’s general performance,” Jules Kalisa said.Kalisa noted that there were a number of corruption cases involving some match officials from last season, an act which the federation wants to find a lasting solution to in order for it not to happen again.Ends
