The famous major league DJZ have yet proved that Amapiano genre lives rent free in Rwanda after ushering revelers of Kigali into the weekend in style yesterday at the Amapiano To The World Concert. Hosted in a spectacular style at the biggest club in Kigali, 17th avenue popup nightclub built inside BK Arena, the first of this kind was attended by many music lovers and top musicians in the country as the duo delivered a stunning performance to the satisfaction of all. Prior to the twins’ taking stage were live mix sessions by local DJs including Toxxyk and DJ shooter who kept those in attendance on their feed, singing and dancing Amapiano moves along as they set the mood for the main headliners of the concert. Major League DJz proved that they are one of the best DJ duo in Africa when they hit the stage at around midnight. They set the arena with a smooth hour of Amapiano and kwaito music, genres they are widely known for championing. Just like what they do back home, Amapiano To The World represented the African culture and everyone inside the club could indeed see and feel it that the twins got a touch to keep the party going. From the dance moves, to the attire, to the clapping, whistles, and all the elements that constitute Amapiano, Just like the new wave of Afro beats which Just continues to steadily dominate the world, the Amapiano to The World concert will go down as the first one-genre show to ever stage in Kigali. DJ Marnaud came to the stage last and performed hit songs including Call Me Everyday by Chris Brown and Wizkid. He performed until 3:30 am and left revelers wanting more. The unforgettable night was put together by BK Arena in partnership with EAP, Momo MTN and Forzza.
