Kiyovu SC faltered yet again as they were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Rutsiro FC in a 2024/25 Peace Cup second round first leg game at Kigali Pele Stadium on Thursday, January 16. Kiyovu's Djuma Nzeyimana scored through a penalty before Rutsiro's Congolese forward Jeremie Mumbere responded, as both teams settled for a 1-1 draw. Kiyovu has been struggling domestically in the league as they are 16th on the table with 12 points after 15 round of games.
