One person died and 15 others were injured, some very seriously, during a tragic accident late Wednesday, January 15, in the busy Zindiro area of Kimironko's Bumbogo Sector, in Gasabo District, the Police confirmed. A speeding Fuso truck rammed into a Toyota Carina E car and a barbershop before stopping. One person, reportedly a female, died while 15 others were injured. Three people who were seriously injured were rushed to Rwanda Military Hospital in Kanombe and others to Kibagabaga Hospital. Witnesses told The New Times that the deceased was a 43-year-old woman called Noella Uwineza, from the Musave neighbourhood of Bumbogo Sector. The deceased's body was taken to Kacyiru Hospital. Damaged properties include the building where the barbershop is located, furniture and two cars. An investigation was started to determine the exact cause of the accident. Police urged drivers to be careful while driving and avoid over speeding and carelessness.
